Will Millar Painter, Musician and Roving Irishman

In the 30+ years since I left the Irish Rovers, I have been very active, creating new solo instrumental CD’s as well as CD’s with other great musicians who have added their own kind of magic to the melodies. As well, I have been painting non-stop!

I now have a large body of work, some of which you can view from this site- some new and some older, some available and some sold. You can also get art cards for $7.00 or prints of any of the pieces, which includes shipping and handling. These are perfect for framing

I have been in love with painting since I was a child. Our family ate our meals at a table constantly cluttered with paints and brushes and half-finished small works of art. I remember I used to thin my cheap oil paint by dipping my brush into the glass oil lamp that lighted the house.

The acoustic instrumental CD’s feature some of Ireland’s great musicians such as Derek Bell of the Chieftains (Celtic Seasons CD). This received a gold record award from Chacra Alternative Music recordings.

The great flute player Paul Horn joined me on “Journey of the Celts.” These melodic CD’s are a complete departure from the old Rovers tunes.

Order now and join my Celtic celebration!

But there is also “Songs of my Irish Rovings” with all the good old songs made popular during my days with the Irish Rovers and“Irish Gold”- a collection of the worlds best-loved Irish melodies for those of you who prefer them.

And one of my favourites for kids of all ages “Songs, of the Unicorn” You can click on the songs with the asterisk * and you will be able to hear clips of the great music.
